Maki is a narrative leader, communications strategist, and community organizer with over 15 years of turning unique stories into action.
She’s partnered with nonprofits, campaigns, newsrooms, and mission-driven organizations to move hearts, shift culture, and spark real change in communities.
Born and raised in Manila (Philippines) and now based in Denver, Colorado, Maki is proudly shaped by her third-culture lens and her deep belief in global solidarity — lessons learned from her years living all over the U.S. and the world.
Whether she’s exploring Colorado’s rugged beauty, hitting up hidden Manila speakeasies, or helping local communities build narrative power, Maki imbues her life and work with heart, hustle, and vision.
